okay so i'm working on three different knitting projects right now. gone are the days when i just knit one thing at a time and didn't start another until that one was completely done. oh well.

this past week i knit up this bag from a pattern in stitch and bitch nation. in the book they put an initial on the front of the bag but i decided to plop some cherries on there because my friend susie likes everything cherry. after knitting and sewing all the pieces together (which turned out to be a huge pain in the ass for a 3D project) susie came over and we felted it. here are the before and after pictures:

i didn't think i would like felted stuff as much as i do. it turned out so great! i may have to make one for myself...
